How These Shoes Should Fit +
A proper fit makes all the difference in comfort and performance. Here's what to look for:
- Toe room: Leave about a thumbnail's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Midfoot: The shoe should hug your midfoot snugly and securely—comfortable, not tight.
- Heel: A little heel slip is normal, especially in a new shoe—it typically settles as the shoe breaks in. A heel-lock lacing technique can help lock it in if needed.
- Platform: Your foot should sit squarely on top of the shoe's base, with no part of your foot spilling over the edge.
Sizing Notes for the Women's Adrenaline GTS 25
The Adrenaline GTS 25 fits true to size for most runners. A few real-world notes from fitting these in our store:
- High-volume / wider feet: Regular (1B) may feel snug—size into Wide (1D) or Extra Wide (2E). If you've worn a wide width in past Brooks models, stay there.
- Narrow heel or foot: The heel cup is well-shaped but firm. If you have a particularly slim heel or foot, try the Narrow (2A), and our staff can show you a runner's loop lacing technique that locks the heel in.
- Coming from the GTS 23 or GTS 22: The GTS 25 fits very similarly—if you owned the GTS 23, your size carries over.
- Coming from a Hoka Arahi or Brooks Glycerin GTS 23: The Adrenaline GTS 25 runs slightly more accommodating in the forefoot than the Arahi, and similar to the Glycerin GTS.
- Sock recommendation: A medium-weight crew or no-show running sock—OS1st Wicked Comfort or Balega Hidden Comfort both pair well. Cotton athletic socks will undermine the fit.
