Altra Torin 9 – Men's – White/Yellow
A Balanced Daily Trainer That Lets Your Foot Work Naturally
The Altra Torin 9 is a neutral daily running shoe built for runners and walkers who want cushioning without feeling disconnected from the ground. Its broad, balanced foundation gives the foot a stable place to land, while Altra’s signature 0mm drop positions the heel and forefoot at the same height.
Underfoot, the new P35X™ dual-density midsole combines two different foam densities to balance softness and structure. The result is a comfortable, grounded ride that works well for everyday mileage, easy runs, walking, and long days on your feet.
The Torin 9 also introduces a Vibram® XS DURA rubber outsole for improved traction and durability. Altra says the new outsole provides 8.5% more grip than the Torin 8, making the shoe more dependable when pavement conditions are less than perfect.
Up top, a breathable mesh upper, updated heel shape, and refined tongue create a comfortable step-in feel. Altra’s Standard FootShape™ fit provides plenty of room for the toes to spread while maintaining a secure fit through the midfoot.

Fit Expert Tip
The Torin 9 uses Altra’s Standard FootShape™, offering extra space through the toe box with a more secure midfoot. It is a neutral shoe and does not include the GuideRail™ support found in the Torin ST.
Because the Torin 9 has a 0mm heel-to-toe drop, runners transitioning from a higher-drop shoe may want to introduce it gradually.
