Pick up the pace. Keep your footing.
Your first speed workout. Your next race. That long run where you finish a little faster than you started. The Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 brings lightweight cushioning and a smooth, responsive ride to the days you want to find another gear, without needing to be an elite runner to appreciate it.
What stands out to us at Tortoise and Hare Sports is the foundation beneath your foot. Where many plated running shoes feature deeply carved-out midsoles, the Endorphin Speed 6 keeps the midfoot more filled in. That fuller platform provides a more substantial base through the middle of the shoe, a welcome design choice when the miles add up and maintaining a controlled stride takes more effort.
New to plated running shoes? Think of the plate as one part of a team. Here, a redesigned nylon plate works with the cushioning and shape of the midsole to create smoother transitions from landing to push-off. It’s not a motor, and it doesn’t do the running for you. It helps give the shoe that lively, rolling feel when you pick up the pace.
PWRRUN PBX foam delivers soft, responsive cushioning, with 2mm more foam underfoot in this update. A lightweight, breathable mesh upper helps keep your foot secure, while XT-9000 rubber adds dependable road traction and durability for the training miles between start lines.
The Endorphin Speed 6 is a neutral, nylon-plated road running shoe for tempo workouts, faster long runs, and race-day efforts. If you’re curious about plated footwear, or want a versatile training partner for your next goal, it deserves a spot on your try-on list.
At Tortoise and Hare Sports, we’re here to help you understand the differences, find your fit, and choose a shoe that makes sense for your running. Shop local, ask questions, and find your next gear with us.
